Pursuant to the Law on Technical Standards and Regulations dated June 29, 2006;

Pursuant to Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations;

Pursuant to Decree No. 25/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 4, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;

At the request of the Director of the General Meteorology Center and Climate Change, the Head of the Science and Technology Department, and the Head of the Legal Affairs Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. ISSUING NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATION:

QCVN 18: 2008/MONRE - National Technical Regulation on Flood Forecasting.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 3. The Minister, Heads of Ministries equivalent to a Ministry, Heads of Government Agencies, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
