CIRCULAR
Issuing the Regulation on Awarding the "Student Scientific Research Award"

Pursuant to the Higher Education Law on June 18, 2012;
Pursuant to the Law on Science and Technology dated June 18, 2013;
Pursuant to Decree No. 32/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 19, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;
Pursuant to Decree No. 08/2014/ND-CP dated January 27, 2014 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Science and Technology;
Pursuant to Decree No. 78/2014/ND-CP dated July 30, 2014 of the Government on the Ho Chi Minh Prize, State Prize, and other prizes for science and technology;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Department of Science, Technology, and Environment,
The Minister of Education and Training issues this Circular on the Regulation on Awarding the "Student Scientific Research Award".
Article 1. This Circular includes the Regulation on Awarding the "Student Scientific Research Award".
Article 2. This Circular takes effect from August 11, 2016.
Abolishing Decision No. 3588/QD-BGDĐT dated September 11, 2012 of the Minister of Education and Training on the Rules of the "Vietnamese Young Scientific Talent Award" for students in universities and academies.
Article 3The Heads of the Office, the Directors of the Department of Science, Technology, and Environment, the heads of units under the Ministry of Education and Training, the heads of higher education institutions, and individuals concerned are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
