Regarding the recognition of Viet Tri City as a Class II urban area
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decree No. 72/2001/NĐ-CP dated October 5, 2001 of the Government on the classification of cities and urban management levels;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho Province, the Minister of Construction, and the Minister of Home Affairs,
DECISION:
Article 1. Recognize Viet Tri City under Phu Tho Province as a Class II urban area.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
The Minister of Construction, the Minister of Home Affairs, the respective Ministers, and the heads of relevant agencies, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho Province, and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Viet Tri City are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
