DECREE
Regarding the establishment of Hung Son town under Lam Thao district, Phu Tho province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Interior and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish Hung Son town under Lam Thao district, Phu Tho province as follows:
1. Establishing Hung Son town based on 117.40 hectares of natural area and 3,532 population from Hy Cuong commune, 200.20 hectares of natural area and 2,754 population from Tien Kien commune, 152.40 hectares of natural area and 3,158 population from Chu Hoa commune.
Hung Son town has 470 hectares of natural area and 9,444 population.
The administrative boundary of Hung Son town: East borders Hy Cuong and Chu Hoa communes; West borders Xuan Lung and Thach Son communes; South borders Chu Hoa commune; North borders Tien Kien commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Hung Son town:
- Hy Cuong commune retains 704.47 hectares of natural area and 4,292 population.
- Tien Kien commune retains 1,062.38 hectares of natural area and 6,619 population.
- Chu Hoa commune retains 859.36 hectares of natural area and 5,733 population.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous provisions contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province, the Minister of Interior, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
