DECISION

Issuing the Regulation on organization and management,

of public passenger transport by motorbike

MINISTER OF TRANSPORTATION

Pursuant to Decree 22/CP dated March 22, 1994 of the Government regarding tasks, authorities, responsibilities for state administration and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transportation;

Pursuant to Decree No. 36/CP dated May 29, 1995 of the Government on ensuring traffic order and safety on roads and in urban areas;

To strengthen state management over public passenger transport by motorbike;

At the proposal of the Director of Vietnam Highway Administration and the Head of Legal Affairs-Vehicle Transport Department.

DECIDES:

Article 1: The "Regulation on organization and management of activities for public passenger transport by motorbike" is hereby issued together with this Decision.

Article 2: This Decision takes effect thirty days from the date of signature. Previous regulations contrary to this Decision are abolished.

Article 3: The Director of Vietnam Highway Administration shall be responsible for guiding and coordinating with Directors of Provincial Departments of Transportation in organizing and supervising the implementation of this Decision.

Article 4: The Head of the Ministry's Office, Heads of Legal Affairs-Vehicle Transport Department, Director of Vietnam Highway Administration, Directors of Provincial Departments of Transportation (Transportation), and Heads of relevant units shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
