Regarding the permission for the Thanh Thuy Border Gate Customs Area, Ha Giang Province to apply the border economic zone policy

PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization, dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Giang Province at the report No. 140/TT-UB dated September 20, 2001; and the proposal of the Minister of Planning and Investment at the document No. 7603/BKH/QLKT dated November 9, 2001;
DECISION:
Article 1. The Thanh Thuy Border Economic Zone includes the communes of Thanh Thuy and Phuong Tien, located in Vi Xuyen District, Ha Giang Province.
Article 2. The Thanh Thuy Border Economic Zone shall apply Decision No. 53/2001/QD-TTg dated April 19, 2001 of the Prime Minister on policies for border gate economic zones.
Article 3. During the implementation process, the People's Committee of Ha Giang Province shall be responsible for:
- Closely coordinating with the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security to effectively implement projects related to national defense and security.
- Prioritizing the sequence of investment in construction projects and sub-projects to ensure efficient use.
- Taking the lead and coordinating with relevant ministries and sectors to assess the application of the aforementioned policies and recommend necessary adjustments and supplements to the Prime Minister.
Article 4. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.
The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Giang Province are responsible for enforcing this decision.
