Decision No. 185/2000/QD-NHNN On the Issuance of Accounting Regulations for the Transfer, Adjustment, Issuance, Recall, and Destruction of Currency and Payment Drafts

DECISION OF THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

Regarding the issuance of Accounting Regulations for the Transfer, Adjustment, Issuance, Recall, and Destruction of Currency and Payment Drafts.

GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam No. 01/1997/QH10 dated December 12, 1997;

Pursuant to Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 of the Government on the tasks, powers, and responsibilities for state management of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to Decree No. 81/1998/NĐ-CP dated October 1, 1998 of the Government on the Printing, Minting, Preservation, Transportation, and Destruction of Paper Money, Metal Coins, and Valuable Securities within the Banking System;

Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 87/1998/NĐ-CP dated October 31, 1998 on the issuance, withdrawal, and replacement of banknotes and coins;

At the proposal of the Director of the Accounting and Finance Department,

DECISION:

Article 1.- The Accounting Regulations for the Transfer, Adjustment, Issuance, Recall, and Destruction of Currency and Payment Drafts are hereby promulgated together with this Decision.

Article 2- This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature.

Article 3.- The Heads of the Office, the Directors of the Accounting and Finance Department, the Issuance and Treasury Department, the Heads of relevant units under the State Bank, the Governors of the State Bank Branches in provinces and centrally-administered cities, and the Directors of Central Cash Depositories are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
