PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization, September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son Province at the report No. 45/TT-UB dated September 22, 2001; and the proposal of the Minister of Planning and Investment at the letter No. 7631/BKH/QLKT dated November 12, 2001,
DECISION:
Article 1. The Chi Ma Border Economic Zone includes the communes of Yen Khiao and Tu Mih, located in Loc Binh District, Lang Son Province.
Article 2. The Chi Ma Border Economic Zone shall apply Decision No. 53/2001/QĐ-TTg dated April 19, 2001 of the Prime Minister regarding policies for border economic zones.
Article 3. During the implementation process, the People's Committee of Lang Son Province shall be responsible for:
- Closely coordinating with the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security to effectively implement projects related to national defense and security. - Prioritizing the order of investment construction of works and sub-works to use them efficiently. - Taking the lead and coordinating with relevant ministries and sectors to assess the application of the aforementioned policies and make recommendations.
This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature.
The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son Province are responsible for implementing this decision.
