DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER

Regarding the approval of the Government's Action Program to implement the Conclusions of the Sixth Plenary Session

of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Ninth Term on science and technology

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to the Conclusions of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Ninth Term;

Pursuant to Resolution No. 12/2002/NQ-CP dated November 8, 2002 of the Government;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Science and Technology,

DECISION:

Article 1. Attached herewith is the Government's Action Program to implement the Conclusions of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Ninth Term on science and technology.

Article 2. The Ministry of Science and Technology shall take the lead and coordinate with ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, and provincial people's committees under direct central jurisdiction to organize the implementation of this Action Program and report periodically to the Prime Minister on the results of its implementation.

Article 3. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.

Article 4. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government agencies, Chairpersons of provincial people's committees under direct central jurisdiction are responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
