Amending Article 21 of the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for Persons Engaged in Revolutionary Activities, Martyrs, and Families of Martyrs, War Invalids, Veterans, and Those Who Have Contributed to the Revolution
This Ordinance amends Article 21 of the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for Persons Engaged in Revolutionary Activities, Martyrs, and Families of Martyrs, War Invalids, Veterans, and Those Who Have Contributed to the Revolution dated August 29, 1994, which was amended according to Ordinance No. 08/1998/PL-UBTVQH10 dated December 1, 1998.
WHEREAS Article 91 of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 1992;
Amending Article 21 of the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for Persons Engaged in Revolutionary Activities, Martyrs, and Families of Martyrs, War Invalids, Veterans, and Those Who Have Contributed to the Revolution as follows:
Article 1. Persons engaged in the resistance war shall be entitled to a one-time allowance based on their length of service in the resistance war.
"Article 21. The Government shall specify the specific amount of the one-time allowance and the payment period.
Repealing Ordinance No. 08/1998/PL-UBTVQH10 dated December 1, 1998, which amended Article 21 of the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for Persons Engaged in Revolutionary Activities, Martyrs, and Families of Martyrs, War Invalids, Veterans, and Those Who Have Contributed to the Revolution.
Article 2. Repeal Ordinance No. 08/1998/PL-UBTVQH10 dated December 1, 1998, amending Article 21 of the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for Persons Engaged in the Revolutionary Movement, Martyrs and Their Families, War Invalids, Veterans with Disabilities, Persons Engaged in the Anti-War Resistance, and Persons Who Have Contributed to the Revolutionary Cause.
Previous regulations contrary to this Ordinance are abolished.
Article 3. The Government shall provide detailed regulations and guidance for the implementation of this Ordinance./.
