THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Pursuant to Decree No.: 86/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to Decision No.: 122/1998/QĐ/BNN-TCCB dated August 24, 1998 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on reorganizing and renaming some research departments under the Institute of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry;
Upon the proposal of the Director of the Institute of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, the Head of the Department of Science and Technology, and the Head of the Department of Organization and Cadres,
DECISION:
Article 1. The reorganization of research departments under the Institute of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry shall be carried out as follows:
1) Department of Soil Biology and Classification;
2) Department of Land Use;
3) Department of Soil Environment;
4) Central Analysis Laboratory.
5) Transfer the tasks of the Department of Soil Fertility to the Department of Land Use and the Department of Soil Environment;
6) Transfer the tasks of the Department of Crop Nutrition to the Center for Research and Application of Agricultural Chemical Products;
Each department shall have a Head and Deputy Head; the Center shall have a Director and Deputy Director; the Director of the Center and Heads of Research Departments must hold a Doctorate degree in their respective fields; the Directors and Deputy Directors of the Center, Heads and Deputy Heads of Research Departments shall be appointed by the Director of the Institute of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry according to current regulations.
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette of the Government and shall replace Decision No.: 122/1998/QĐ-BNN-TCCB dated August 24, 1998 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Article 3. The Director of the Institute of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry shall specify the tasks, staffing, and operational regulations for the Center and Research Departments in accordance with current regulations;
Article 4. The Head of the Office, the Head of the Department of Organization and Cadres, heads of relevant agencies and units under the Ministry, and the Director of the Institute of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry are responsible for implementing this Decision.
