DECISION

Regarding the issuance of the List of Plant Protection Chemicals for Vegetables

 

THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

 

Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to the Ordinance on Plant Protection and Quarantine, promulgated on August 8, 2001;

Considering the proposal of the Director General of the Plant Protection Department and the Deputy Minister of Science and Technology,

 

DECISION:

 

Article 1. Issued together with this Decision:

The List of Plant Protection Chemicals for Vegetables (attached) includes:

1. Insecticides: 49 active ingredients with 91 trade names

2. Fungicides: 4 active ingredients with 108 trade names

3. Herbicides: 5 active ingredients with 5 trade names

4. Growth Regulators: 9 active ingredients with 1 trade name

5. Insect attractants: 1 active ingredient with 1 trade name

6. Snail Control Agents: 1 active ingredient with 1 trade name

Article 2. The export and import of plant protection chemicals issued pursuant to this Decision shall be carried out in accordance with Circular 62/2001/TT-BNN dated June 5, 2001 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development guiding the export and import of goods under specialized agricultural management according to Decision 46/2001/QD-TTg dated April 4, 2001 of the Prime Minister on the management of export and import of goods during the period 2001-2005 and Decision No. 145/2002/QD-BNN dated December 18, 2002 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the issuance of regulations on procedures for registration; production, processing, bottling, packaging; export, import; trading; storage, transportation; use; destruction; labeling; packaging; advertising seminars for plant protection chemicals.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

All previous decisions that conflict with this Decision are hereby abolished.

Article 4. The Director General of the Plant Protection Department, the Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, the Head of the Ministry's Office, the Heads of units under the Ministry, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
