WHEREAS, Decree No. 54/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 19, 2003 of the Government stipulates the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Decree No. 28/2004/NĐ-CP dated January 16, 2004 of the Government amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 54/2003/NĐ-CP;
WHEREAS, the Quality of Goods Ordinance dated December 24, 1999;
WHEREAS, Decree No. 179/2004/NĐ-CP dated October 21, 2004 of the Government stipulates state management over product and commodity quality;

Article 1. ENFORCE THE VIETNAM STANDARD TCVN 7208:2002 on harmful substances in motor gasoline issued together with Decision No. 22/2002/QĐ-BKHCN dated December 31, 2002 of the Minister of Science and Technology.
Article 2. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE.
Article 3. THE DIRECTOR OF THE GENERAL BUREAU OF STANDARDIZATION, METROLOGY AND QUALITY CONTROL AND THE ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED IN IMPORTING AND TRADING GASOLINE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECISION.
