Pursuant to the Railway Traffic Law dated June 14, 2005;
Pursuant to the Criminal Investigation Organization Ordinance 2004;
Pursuant to the Administrative Violation Handling Ordinance 2002;
Pursuant to Decree No. 136/2003/NĐ-CP dated November 14, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Public Security;
At the proposal of the Director General of the Police General Department,

Article 1. The Railway Traffic Accident Investigation and Resolution Procedure is hereby issued together with this Decision.
Article 2. This Decision replaces Decision No. 30/2003/QĐ-BCA(C11) dated January 16, 2003 of the Minister of Public Security issuing the Road Traffic Accident Investigation and Resolution Procedure and the Railway Traffic Accident Investigation and Resolution Procedure.
This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. Directors of all General Departments, Heads of units directly under the Minister, Provincial Police Chiefs, and Chief of Police of centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Decision.
