Amending and supplementing Circular Joint No. 03/2006/TTLT-BTM-BGTVT-BTC-BCA

 guiding the importation of passenger cars with seating capacity under 16 seats that have been used

Pursuant to Decree No. 189/2007/ND-CP dated December 27, 2007, issued by the Government, detailing the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;
Pursuant to Decree No. 12/2006/NĐ-CP dated January 23, 2006 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Law on Trade regarding international trade activities and related activities such as agency purchase, sale, processing, and transshipment of goods with foreign countries;
After reaching consensus with the Ministries of Transport, Finance, and Public Security, the Minister of Industry and Trade amends and supplements Circular Joint No. 03/2006/TTLT-BTM-BGTVT-BTC-BCA dated March 31, 2006 guiding the importation of passenger cars with seating capacity under 16 seats that have been used pursuant to Decree No. 12/2006/NĐ-CP dated January 23, 2006 of the Government, as follows:

Article 1. Part Amending and Supplementing

- Amending and supplementing Clause 2 Section III. Import Procedures and Registration for Circulation, as follows:
"2. Used vehicles may only be imported into Vietnam through international seaports: Cái Lân, Quảng Ninh, Haiphong, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Vung Tau. Customs procedures shall be carried out at the port of entry."

- Replacing the phrase "Ministry of Trade" with "Ministry of Industry and Trade".

Article 2. Effective Date

This Circular shall take effect forty-five days from the date of signature.

Other contents of Circular Joint No. 03/2006/TTLT-BTM-BGTVT-BTC-BCA remain unchanged and continue to be effective./.
