Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries and establishment of communes under the districts of Tan Uyen, Dau Tieng, Phu Giao, Binh Duong provincethe districts of Tân Uyên, Dầu Tiếng, Phú Giáo, Province of Bình Dương

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Interior and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Duong province.
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted, and communes are established under the districts of Tan Uyen, Phu Giao, Dau Tieng, Binh Duong province as follows:
1. Adjusting 1,120 hectares of natural area and 245 population of Tan My commune under Tan Uyen district to be managed by Lac An commune.
Establishing Hieu Lien commune under Tan Uyen district based on 2,311 hectares of natural area and 1,113 population of Lac An commune, 2,227 hectares of natural area and 1,277 population of Tan Ding commune.
Hieu Lien commune has 4,538 hectares of natural area and 2,390 population.
Administrative boundary of Hieu Lien commune: East borders Dong Nai province; West borders Tan Thanh, Dat Cuoc, Lac An communes; South borders Lac An commune and Dong Nai province; North borders Tan Ding commune and Dong Nai province.
After adjusting administrative boundaries and establishing Hieu Lien commune:
- Lac An commune has 3,565 hectares of natural area and 6,958 population.
- Tan Ding commune remains with 8,544 hectares of natural area and 4,495 population.
2. Establishing Dat Cuoc commune under Tan Uyen district based on 1,096 hectares of natural area and 1,546 population of Tan My commune, 2,012 hectares of natural area and 1,204 population of Tan Thanh commune.
Dat Cuoc commune has 3,108 hectares of natural area and 2,750 population.
Administrative boundary of Dat Cuoc commune: East borders Hieu Lien, Lac An communes; West borders Tan Lap and Uyen Hung town; South borders Tan My commune; North borders Tan Thanh, Tan Ding communes.
After adjusting administrative boundaries and establishing Dat Cuoc commune:
- Tan My commune remains with 4,079 hectares of natural area and 3,849 population.
- Tan Thanh commune remains with 2,694 hectares of natural area and 3,226 population.
3. Establishing Tan Hiep commune under Tan Uyen district based on 545 hectares and 2,287 population of Phu Chan commune, 290 hectares of natural area and 1,173 population of Tan Vinh Hiep commune, 1,994 hectares of natural area and 2,119 population of Khanh Binh commune.
Tan Hiep commune has 2,829 hectares of natural area and 5,579 population.
Administrative boundary of Tan Hiep commune: East borders Uyen Hung town; West borders Vinh Tan, Phu Chan communes; South borders Tan Vinh Hiep, Khanh Binh communes; North borders Binh My, Hoi Nghia communes.
After adjusting administrative boundaries and establishing Tan Hiep commune:
- Phu Chan commune remains with 1,718 hectares of natural area and 6,407 population.
- Tan Vinh Hiep commune remains with 1,731 hectares of natural area and 9,409 population.
- Khanh Binh commune remains with 2,177 hectares of natural area and 6,306 population.
4. Establishing Thanh Hoi commune under Tan Uyen district based on 388 hectares of natural area and 2,298 population of Thanh Phuoc commune.
Thanh Hoi commune has 388 hectares of natural area and 2,298 population.
Administrative boundary of Thanh Hoi commune: East borders Dong Nai province; West borders Thai Hoa commune; South borders Dong Nai province; North borders Thanh Phuoc commune.
After adjusting administrative boundaries and establishing Thanh Hoi commune, Thanh Phuoc commune remains with 840 hectares of natural area and 4,240 population.
5. Establishing An Thai commune under Phu Giao district based on 6,471 hectares of natural area and 3,794 population of An Linh commune.
An Thai commune has 6,471 hectares of natural area and 3,794 population.
Administrative boundary of An Thai commune: East, West, and North border Binh Phuoc province; South borders An Long, An Linh, Tan Hiep, Phuc Sang communes.
After adjusting administrative boundaries and establishing An Thai commune, An Linh commune remains with 2,515 hectares of natural area and 3,677 population.
6. Adjusting 1,477 hectares of natural area and 950 population of Minh Tan commune under Dau Tieng district to be managed by Long Hoa commune.
After the adjustment of administrative boundaries:
- Minh Tan commune remains with 4,906 hectares of natural area and 4,539 population.
- Long Hoa commune has 5,828 hectares of natural area and 6,800 population.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous provisions contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Duong province, the Minister of Interior, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
