Considering the proposal of the Minister of Industry and Trade in the Memorandum No. 3341/TTr-BCT dated November 26, 2007
Approves the Supplementary Protocol to the Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Soviet Federative Socialist Republic on continuing cooperation in the field of geological exploration and exploitation of oil and gas on the southern continental shelf of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam within the framework of the Joint Venture Enterprise "Vietsovpetro" dated July 16, 1991, signed on September 11, 2007 in Moscow, Russian Federation.
The Protocol shall apply all its contents during the implementation period.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade is responsible for guiding the implementation of the Protocol.

DECISION:
Article 1. Approve the Supplementary Protocol to the Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Soviet Federative Socialist Republic on continuing cooperation in the field of geological exploration and oil and gas exploitation on the southern continental shelf of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam within the joint venture enterprise "Vietsovpetro", dated July 16, 1991, signed on September 11, 2007, in Moscow, Russian Federation.
Article 2. The Protocol shall be fully implemented during its period of application.
Article 3. The Ministry of Industry and Trade shall be responsible for guiding the implementation of the Protocol.
Article 4. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall complete the relevant diplomatic procedures as prescribed and notify the related agencies of our side of the date when the above-mentioned Protocol comes into effect./.
