Regarding the establishment of communes under the districts
Cái Nước and Phú Tân, Cà Mau province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Interior and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Cà Mau province,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish communes under the districts Cái Nước and Phú Tân, Cà Mau province as follows:
1. Establishing the commune Thạnh Phú under Cái Nước district based on 3,111 hectares of natural area and 13,725 population from the commune Lương Thế Trân.
Administrative boundary of the commune Thạnh Phú: East borders the commune Lương Thế Trân; West borders the commune Phú Hưng; South borders the commune Tân Hưng; North borders the district Trần Văn Thời and the city of Cà Mau.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune Thạnh Phú, the commune Lương Thế Trân will remain with 3,024 hectares of natural area and 9,079 population.
2. Establishing the commune Hòa Mỹ under Cái Nước district based on 3,860.20 hectares of natural area and 9,326 population from the commune Hưng Mỹ.
Administrative boundary of the commune Hòa Mỹ: East borders the communes Tân Hưng, Đông Thới; West borders the district Phú Tân; South borders the commune Tân Hưng Đông; North borders the commune Hưng Mỹ.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune Hòa Mỹ, the commune Hưng Mỹ will remain with 2,977.80 hectares of natural area and 10,885 population.
3. Establishing the commune Đông Hưng under Cái Nước district based on 3,283.40 hectares of natural area and 10,299 population from the commune Đông Thới.
Administrative boundary of the commune Đông Hưng: East borders the district Đầm Dơi; West borders the communes Tân Hưng Đông, Hưng Mỹ; South borders the commune Đông Thới; North borders the commune Tân Hưng.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune Đông Hưng, the commune Đông Thới will remain with 2,926.60 hectares of natural area and 8,715 population.
4. Establishing the commune Phú Thuận under Phú Tân district based on 3,925 hectares of natural area and 11,359 population from the commune Phú Mỹ.
Administrative boundary of the commune Phú Thuận: East borders the district Cái Nước; West borders the commune Phú Mỹ; South borders the communes Tân Hưng Tây, Việt Thắng; North borders the district Trần Văn Thời.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune Phú Thuận, the commune Phú Mỹ will remain with 4,114.51 hectares of natural area and 9,231 population.
5. Establishing the commune Rạch Chèo under Phú Tân district based on 4,450 hectares of natural area and 9,998 population from the commune Tân Hưng Tây.
Administrative boundary of the commune Rạch Chèo: East borders the commune Việt Thắng; West borders the commune Nguyễn Việt Khái; South borders the district Năm Căn; North borders the commune Tân Hưng Tây.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune Rạch Chèo, the commune Tân Hưng Tây will remain with 3,953 hectares of natural area and 11,426 population.
