RESOLUTION
ON AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CERTAIN ARTICLES OF THE CONSTITUTION OF 2013
OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
On the basis of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 2013;
After considering the Report No. 1261/TTr-UBTVQH15 dated April 23, 2025, of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on amending and supplementing certain articles of the Constitution of 2013 and the opinions of the National Assembly deputies,
RESOLUTION:
Article 1
Decides to amend and supplement certain articles of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 2013 to implement the policy of restructuring and streamlining the organizational structure of the political system, focusing on provisions regarding the Vietnam Fatherland Front, political-social organizations, and the delineation of administrative units and local government organizations.
Article 2
The National Assembly establishes a Drafting Committee for Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the Constitution of 2013 to take the lead and coordinate with relevant agencies in performing the task of drafting the Resolution for Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 2013, and submit it to the National Assembly for consideration and approval at the 9th Session.
This Resolution was adopted by the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the 15th Term, the 9th Session, on May 5, 2025.
