Article 1.
The Steering Committee for the Program on preventing and controlling accidents and injuries shall consist of the following members:
1. Chairperson of the Program: Minister of Health;
2. Vice-Chairperson in charge of the Program: Deputy Minister of Health;
3. Vice-Chairperson of the Program: Deputy Minister of Transport;
4. Members:
- Vice Minister of Finance;
- Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment;
- Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism;
- Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs;
- Deputy Minister of Justice;
- Vice Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development;
- Deputy Minister of Education and Training;
- Vice Minister of Public Security;
- Deputy Minister of Industry;
- Deputy Director of the National Committee for Children's Protection and Care;
- Standing Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front;
- Deputy Chairman of the Central Vietnam Peasants' Association;
- Deputy Chairman of the Vietnam Women's Union;
- Secretary of the Central Communist Youth Union Ho Chi Minh;
- General Confederation of Labor Vietnam.
Article 2.
The Steering Committee for the Program on preventing and controlling accidents and injuries shall have the following tasks:
1. Drafting Action Plans for preventing and controlling accidents and injuries for ministries and sectors;
2. Implementing and supervising the implementation of the national action plan for preventing and controlling accidents and injuries by ministries, sectors, and localities.
Article 3.
Working regime:
1. The Steering Committee operates on a part-time basis and has a support unit located at the Ministry of Health.
2. The Chairperson of the Program shall establish the operational rules and specific duties of the members of the Steering Committee.
Article 4.
This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of issuance.
Article 5.
Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, and the Steering Committee for the Program on preventing and controlling accidents and injuries are responsible for implementing this Decision.
