On the establishment of the Drafting Committee for Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the 2013 Constitution
supplementing some Articles of the 2013 Constitution
NATIONAL ASSEMBLY SOCIALIST
Pursuant to the 2013 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
Pursuant to Resolution No. 194/2025/QH15 dated May 5, 2025 of the National Assembly on amending and supplementing certain articles of the Constitution of 2013;
After considering the Report No. 1262/TTr-UBTVQH15 dated April 23, 2025, of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the establishment of the Drafting Committee for Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the 2013 Constitution and the opinions of the National Assembly deputies,
RESOLUTION:
Article 1
The Drafting Committee for Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the 2013 Constitution shall include:
1. Mr. Tran Thanh Manh,
2. Mr. Tran Cam Tu, Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Chairman;
3. Mr. Nguyen Khac Dinh, Deputy
4. Mr. Le Thanh Long,
5. Mr. Hoang Thanh Tung, Chairman of the Committee for Legal Affairs and Justice of the National Assembly, Permanent Member;
6. Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh, Minister of Justice, Permanent Member;
7. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Vice Chairwoman - Secretary General of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Permanent Member;
8. Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Chairman of the Committee for Representative Work of the National Assembly, Member;
9. Mr. Duong Thanh Binh, Chairman of the Committee for Petitions and Supervision of the National Assembly, Member;
10. Mr. Le Quang Tung, Secretary General of the National Assembly - Chairman of the Office of the National Assembly, Member;
11. Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong, Deputy Head of the Organization Department of the Central Committee, Member;
12. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Deputy Head of the Internal Affairs Department of the Central Committee, Member;
13. Mr. Pham Tat Thang, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Central Committee, Member;
14. Mr. Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Member;
15. Mr. Cao Huy, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Member.
Article 2
1. The Drafting Committee for Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the 2013 Constitution shall be tasked with researching and drafting the Resolution for Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the 2013 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; organizing public consultations and soliciting opinions from various sectors and levels; explaining and incorporating suggestions from the public, various sectors and levels, and National Assembly deputies to perfect the draft Resolution for Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the 2013 Constitution to be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and approval.
2. The Drafting Committee for Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the 2013 Constitution shall be authorized to use the seal of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
3. The Standing Committee of the Committee for Legal Affairs and Justice of the National Assembly shall serve as the permanent body, directly advising and assisting the Drafting Committee for Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the 2013 Constitution. The Standing Committee of the Ethnic Council and other Committees of the National Assembly shall cooperate with the Standing Committee of the Committee for Legal Affairs and Justice of the National Assembly in carrying out their tasks.
4. The Office of the National Assembly shall be responsible for ensuring funding and other necessary conditions, organizing support for the activities of the Drafting Committee for Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the 2013 Constitution and its permanent body.
5. The Drafting Committee for Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the 2013 Constitution shall dissolve itself upon completion of its tasks.
This Resolution was adopted by the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the 15th term, the 9th session, on May 5, 2025.
