DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE
Issuing the Charter on Organization and Operation of Vietnam Insurance Corporation.

THE MINISTER OF FINANCE
- Based on the State Enterprise Law dated April 20, 1995;
- Based on the Insurance Business Law dated December 9, 2000;
- Based on Decree No. 42/2001/ND-CP dated August 1, 2001 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Insurance Business Law;
- Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 86/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 5, 2002 stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
- BASED ON DECREE NO. 77/2003/ND-CP OF July 1, 2003 OF THE GOVERNMENT PROVIDING FOR THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE;
- Based on Decree No. 39/CP dated June 27, 1995 of the Government regarding the issuance of model regulations on organization and operation of state corporations;
- Based on Decision No. 169/2003/TC/QD dated October 10, 2003 of the Minister of Finance on restructuring the business operations of Vietnam Insurance Corporation;
- Based on Decision No. 170/2003/TC/QD dated October 10, 2003 of the Minister of Finance on the charter capital and operating capital for Vietnam Insurance Corporation;
Considering the proposal of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Insurance Corporation, the Director of the Insurance Department, the Director of the Personnel Organization Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. Issuing the Charter on Organization and Operation of Vietnam Insurance Corporation attached hereto.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature. Abolishing Decision No. 461/TC/QD/TCCB dated May 11, 1996 of the Minister of Finance approving the Charter on Organization and Operation of Vietnam Insurance Corporation.
Article 3. The Board of Directors, General Director of Vietnam Insurance Corporation, the Director of the Personnel Organization Department, the Director of the Insurance Department, the Director of the Ministry of Finance's Office shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
