Upgrading Quang Tri Secondary Teachers' College to Quang Tri College of Education

PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 90/CP dated November 24, 1993 on the structure framework of the national education system, the system of educational certificates and diplomas in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training in the letter No. 685/KHTC dated January 30, 1997,
DECISION:
Article 1. Upgrade Quang Tri Secondary Teachers' College to Quang Tri College of Education.
Article 2. Quang Tri College of Education shall have the following tasks:
- Training and enhancing cadres at the college level,
- Conducting scientific research to serve the requirements for socio-economic development.
Article 3. Quang Tri College of Education is under the management of the People's Committee of Quang Tri Province, subject to the sectoral management of the Ministry of Education and Training, and entitled to enjoy policies and regulations applied by the State to the university and college systems.
Article 4. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.
Article 5. The Minister of Education and Training, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri Province, the Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of central government agencies, Chairmen of provincial and municipal People's Committees directly under the Central Government are responsible for implementing this Decision.
