Regulations on allowances for

drug crime prevention and suppression police forces

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of National Defence and the Minister of Finance,

At the proposal of the Minister of Public Security, the Minister of the Government’s Organizational and Civil Servants Affairs, the Minister of Finance, and the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

DECISION:

Article 1. Allowance regulations for the drug crime prevention and suppression police force managed by the Ministry of Public Security shall be as follows:

- VND 200,000/person/month for officers and non-commissioned officers directly engaged in surveillance work.

- VND 150,000/person/month for other officers and non-commissioned officers engaged in drug crime prevention and suppression tasks.

Article 2. The funding for allowances shall be sourced from the annual budget allocated to the National Drug Prevention Program.

Article 3. This Decision shall take effect from September 1, 1999.

Article 4. The Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Finance shall provide guidance on the implementation of this Decision.

Article 5. The Minister, Heads of Ministries equivalent to Ministries, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
