Regarding the recognition of Ha Long City as a Class II urban area
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decree No. 72/2001/NĐ-CP dated October 5, 2001 of the Government on the classification of cities and urban management levels;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh Province, the Minister of Construction, and the Minister of Home Affairs,
DECISION:
Article 1. Recognize Ha Long City under Quang Ninh Province as a Class II urban area.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
The Minister of Construction, the Minister of Home Affairs, the Ministers of relevant ministries, and the Heads of related agencies, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh Province, and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Long City are responsible for implementing this Decision.
