DECREE
Regarding the establishment of communes and wards under the city of Hoi An and the districts of Dai Loc, Que Son, Quang Nam province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province,
DECREE
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish communes and wards under the city of Hoi An and the districts of Dai Loc, Que Son, Quang Nam province as follows:
1. Establish Ward Cam Chau under the city of Hoi An based on the entire natural area and population of Cam Chau commune.
Ward Cam Chau has 570.30 hectares of natural area and 8,610 inhabitants.
The administrative boundary of Ward Cam Chau: East borders Cam Thanh commune; West borders Tan An and Son Phong wards; South borders Cam Nam commune; North borders Cam An and Cu Da wards.
2. Establish Ward Cu Da under the city of Hoi An based on 314.07 hectares of natural area and 4,875 inhabitants of Cam An commune.
Ward Cu Da has 314.07 hectares of natural area and 4,875 inhabitants.
The administrative boundary of Ward Cu Da: East borders the East Sea; West borders Cam Chau ward and Cam Thanh commune; South borders Duy Xuan district; North borders Cam An ward.
3. Establish Ward Cam An under the city of Hoi An based on the remaining natural area and population of Cam An commune.
Ward Cam An has 290.46 hectares of natural area and 4,765 inhabitants.
The administrative boundary of Ward Cam An: East borders the East Sea; West borders Cam Ha commune; South borders Cam Chau and Cu Da wards; North borders Dien Ban district.
4. Establish Commune Dai Hung under Dai Loc district based on 8,869 hectares of natural area and 6,821 inhabitants of Dai Lang commune.
Commune Dai Hung has 8,869 hectares of natural area and 6,821 inhabitants.
The administrative boundary of Commune Dai Hung: East borders Dai Lang commune; West borders Dong Giang district; South borders Dai Son commune; North borders Dong Giang district.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Commune Dai Hung, Dai Lang commune retains 3,721 hectares of natural area and 10,390 inhabitants.
5. Divide Quyet Xuan commune under Que Son district into Quyet Xuan 1 commune and Quyet Xuan 2 commune.
Quyet Xuan 1 commune has 821 hectares of natural area and 9,292 inhabitants.
The administrative boundary of Quyet Xuan 1 commune: East borders Quyet Phu commune; West borders Duy Xuyen district; South borders Quyet Xuan 2 commune; North borders Duy Xuyen district.
Quyet Xuan 2 commune has 1,508 hectares of natural area and 6,725 inhabitants.
The administrative boundary of Quyet Xuan 2 commune: East borders Quyet Phu commune; West borders Duy Xuyen district; South borders Quyet Hiep, Quyet Thuan, Phu Tho, and Quyet Cuong communes; North borders Quyet Xuan 1 commune.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous provisions contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
