DECISION
REGARDING THE ADOPTION OF THE MODEL REGULATION ON DIGITAL SIGNATURE VERIFICATION

THE MINISTER OF POSTS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS
Pursuant to Decree No. 90/2002/ND-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications;
Pursuant to Decree No. 26/2007/ND-CP dated February 15, 2007 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Law on Electronic Transactions concerning digital signatures and digital signature verification services;
At the proposal of the Director of the Telecommunications Department.
DECISION:
Article 1. The Model Regulation on Digital Signature Verification is hereby adopted along with this Decision.
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen (15) days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. Organizations providing digital signature verification services shall base their own regulations on the provisions of the law regarding the provision of digital signature verification services and this Model Regulation on Digital Signature Verification.
Article 4. The Head of the Ministry’s Office, the Director of the Telecommunications Department, the Director of the Information Technology Application Department, the Heads of units under the Ministry, and the General Directors and Directors of organizations providing digital signature verification services are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
