DECISION
Issuing the Framework Curriculum for Higher Education in the Security Science Field
at the University Level

THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Pursuant to the Education Law dated June 14, 2005;
Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 85/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;
Based on the assessment results of the Advisory Council for the Development of the Framework Curriculum for Higher Education in the Security Science Field on November 10, 2006;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Department of Universities and Graduate Studies.
DECISION:
Article 1. Attached hereto is the Framework Curriculum for Higher Education in the Security Science Field at the University Level, including the framework curricula of the following three fields:
1. National Security Administration Management field;
2. Police Technical Operations field;
3. Armed Police field.
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. The attached Framework Curriculum shall be used in universities and academies with the responsibility to train the above three fields.
Article 3. On the basis of The attached Framework Curriculum shall be used by the Rectors of universities and academies and the Presidents of universities to determine their educational programs; organize the compilation and approval of textbooks for courses to be officially used in their institutions based on the assessment of the Textbook Assessment Council established by the Rector or President.
Article 4. The Head of the Office, the Director of the Department of Universities and Graduate Studies, the heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training, the Rectors of universities and academies, and the Presidents of universities are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
