Pursuant to the Road Traffic Law promulgated on June 29, 2001;

Pursuant to Government Decree No. 179/2004/NĐ-CP dated October 21, 2004 on state management of product quality;

Pursuant to Government Decree No. 34/2003/NĐ-CP dated April 4, 2003 on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;

At the proposal of: The Director of the Vietnam Vehicle Inspection Agency, the Head of the Science and Technology Department, the Head of the Legal Affairs Department.

DECISION:

Article 1. Amend the content at Point 2.2.2.3 in the Regulation issued together with Decision No. 2557/2002/QĐ-BGTVT dated August 16, 2002 of the Minister of Transport, specifically as follows:

2.2.2.3. Other documents:

- Photographs of the design and sample labels of registered goods, technical specification registration forms according to prescribed models;

- Explanations of technological solutions ensuring product quality and safety, results of quality inspections conducted by the production facility for the sample product at various stages of production and assembly;

- A confirmation document from the competent state authority certifying that the enterprise meets the criteria for producing and assembling motorcycles and motor vehicles;

- An explanation of the method and location for chassis number and engine number stamping;

- Copies of type approval certificates for components listed in Appendix 1 of this Regulation that must be inspected;

- User manuals;

- A commitment from the enterprise regarding the non-infringement of protected industrial property rights for the registered product types, and the enterprise's responsibility under the law if infringement occurs.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 3. The Chief of the Office, Heads of the Science and Technology Department, Legal Affairs Department, Transport Department, Vietnam Highway Administration, Vietnam Vehicle Inspection Agency, Directors of Provincial Departments of Transport/Transport and Public Works, and heads of related agencies and units are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
