BASED ON THE ROAD TRAFFIC LAW ON JUNE 29, 2001;

BASED ON DECREE NO. 51/2008/NĐ-CP OF APRIL 22, 2008 OF THE GOVERNMENT PROVIDING FOR THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS, AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORTATION;

BASED ON DECREE NO. 146/2007/NĐ-CP OF SEPTEMBER 14, 2007 OF THE GOVERNMENT PROVIDING FOR ADMINISTRATIVE SANCTIONS FOR VIOLATIONS IN THE FIELD OF ROAD TRAFFIC;

At the request of the Director of the Transport Department and the Director General of the Vietnam Highway Administration,

DECISION:

Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS DECISION ARE THE "TEMPORARY REGULATIONS ON THE ORGANIZATION AND OPERATIONS OF OVERLOAD CONTROL STATIONS".

Article 2. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE AND SHALL REPEAL DECISION NO. 4212/2001/QĐ-BGTVT OF DECEMBER 10, 2001 OF THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORTATION ISSUING REGULATIONS ON THE ORGANIZATION AND OPERATIONS OF OVERLOAD CONTROL STATIONS.

Article 3. THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S OFFICE, THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S INSPECTION DEPARTMENT, THE DIRECTORS OF THE MINISTRY’S DEPARTMENTS, THE DIRECTORS OF THE MINISTRY’S BUREAUS, THE DIRECTORS OF PROVINCE AND CITY TRANSPORT DEPARTMENTS UNDER THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT, THE HEADS OF THE AFFECTED AUTHORITIES, ORGANIZATIONS, AND INDIVIDUALS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECISION./.
