CIRCULAR

BIssuing the Economic and Technical Standards for Surveying and Mapping

Pursuant to Decree No. 25/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 4, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;

Pursuant to Decree No. 12/2002/NĐ-CP dated January 22, 2002 of the Government on surveying and mapping activities;

At the request of the Director of the Vietnam National Survey and Mapping Center, the Head of the Planning Department, and the Head of the Legal Department;

The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment issues this Circular on Economic and Technical Standards for Surveying and Mapping,

Article 1. This Circular promulgates the Economic and Technical Standards for Surveying and Mapping.

Article 2. This Circular takes effect from February 6, 2013, and replaces the following documents: Decision No. 05/2006/QĐ-BTNMT dated May 26, 2006, of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on the issuance of Economic and Technical Standards for Surveying and Mapping; Decision No. 01/2008/QĐ-BTNMT dated March 5, 2008, of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on the issuance of Economic and Technical Standards for Satellite Image Terrain Map Revision at a Scale of 1:10,000; Circular No. 35/2010/TT-BTNMT dated December 14, 2010, of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment stipulating Economic and Technical Standards for Surveying and Mapping to Establish Seabed Topographic Maps Using Multi-Beam Echo Sounders.

Article 3. Ministries, Agencies Equivalent to Ministries, Government Agencies, People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, the Vietnam National Survey and Mapping Center, units under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular.

In the process of implementation, if there are difficulties or obstacles, they are requested to promptly report them to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment for consideration and resolution./.
