Issuing Regulations on General Technical Requirements for Importing Used Equipment

MINISTER OF THE MINISTRY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENT
Pursuant to Decree No. 22/CP dated May 22, 1993 of the Government on tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Environment;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Department of Technology Management,
DECISION:
Article 1. Now, this Decision promulgates the "Regulations on General Technical Requirements for Importing Used Equipment" attached hereto.
Article 2. This Decision does not apply to equipment and means that have specific regulations issued by the Government.
Article 3. This Decision replaces Decisions No. 1762/QD-PTCN dated October 17, 1995 and No. 2183/QD-PTCN dated December 16, 1995 of the Minister of Science, Technology, and Environment.
Article 4. This Decision takes effect from February 1, 1998. All organizations and individuals importing used equipment shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
