Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to the Law on Military Service dated December 30, 1981; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the Law on Military Service dated December 21, 1990; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the Law on Military Service dated June 22, 1994; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the Law on Military Service dated June 14, 2005;

Based on the Ordinance on Reserve Mobilization Forces dated August 27, 1996;

Pursuant to the Decree No. 83/2001/NĐ-CP dated November 9, 2001 of the Government on military service registration;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of National Defense.

Pursuant to …;

Article 1. Specialized professions for female citizens needed by the Military include:

1. Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees comprising nine professions:

a) Information Technology;

b) Electronics and Telecommunications;

c) Doctors (general and specialized);

d) Pharmacists;

đ) Nursing;

e) Finance and Banking;

g) Accounting;

h) Cryptography Engineering;

i) Foreign Languages.

2. Associate degrees comprising sixteen professions:

a) Information Technology;

b) Electronics and Telecommunications;

c) Postal services;

d) Medical Assistants (general and specialized);

đ) Senior Medical Technicians;

e) Associate Degree Nurses;

g) Pharmacists;

h) Traditional Medicine;

i) Nursing;

k) Nutrition and Cooking;

l) Finance and Credit;

m) Accounting;

n) Cryptography Engineering;

o) Surveying and Mapping;

p) Clerical and Archival Work;

q) Petroleum Products.

3. Basic level comprising four professions:

a) Radio Operator (15 W or higher);

b) Nursing;

c) Pharmacy Technician;

d) Surveying and Mapping.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and shall replace Decision No. 183/HĐBT dated November 2, 1982 of the Council of Ministers (now the Government) regarding the registration of military service for female citizens with specialized technical professions needed by the Military.

The Minister of National Defense shall guide the implementation of this Decision.

Article 3. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of governmental agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under central cities, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
