Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/ND-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; Decree No. 75/2009/ND-CP dated September 10, 2009 of the Government amending Article 3 of Decree No. 01/2008/ND-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government;

Pursuant to the Plant Variety Law No. 15/2004/PL-UBTVQH11 dated March 24, 2004 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Term XI;

Considering the proposal at the meeting minutes on August 18, 2011 of the Recognition Variety Review Board established pursuant to Decision No. 381/QD-TCLN-PTR dated August 10, 2011 of the Director General of the Forest Service;

At the proposal of the Director General of the Forest Management Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. Now recognize five Macadamia varieties (Macadamia integrifolia) researched and tested by the Import-Export Agro-Forestry Products Processing Joint Stock Company - Vegetable and Fruit Agricultural Product Corporation as advanced technology varieties (Attached list).

Article 2. The author group and the Import-Export Agro-Forestry Products Processing Joint Stock Company - Vegetable and Fruit Agricultural Product Corporation shall be responsible for disseminating and guiding related techniques to the newly recognized varieties and coordinating with the Forest Service, the National Agricultural Extension Center to quickly introduce these new varieties into production in suitable locations.

Article 3. The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Director General of the Forest Service, the Director of the National Agricultural Extension Center, the Director of the Institute of Forestry Science, the author group, and the heads of relevant units shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
