Decision No. 206/2000/QĐ-NHNN13 Amending Clause 2 of Article 9 of the "Regulations on the Organization and Operation of the Interbank Foreign Exchange Market" issued together with Decision No. 101/1999/QĐ-NHNN13 dated March 26, 1999 by the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam.

DECISION OF THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

REGARDING THE AMENDMENT OF CLAUSE 2, ARTICLE 9 OF THE "REGULATIONS ON THE ORGANIZATION AND OPERATIONS OF THE INTERBANK FOREIGN EXCHANGE MARKET" ISSUED TOGETHER WITH DECISION NO. 101/1999/QĐ-NHNN13 DATED MARCH 26, 1999 BY THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM.

GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

BASED ON THE LAW ON THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM NO. 01/1997/QH10 DATED DECEMBER 12, 1997 AND THE LAW ON CREDIT ORGANIZATIONS NO. 02/1997/QH10 DATED DECEMBER 12, 1997;

Pursuant to Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 of the Government on the tasks, powers, and responsibilities for state management of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to Decree No. 63/1998/NĐ-CP dated August 17, 1998 of the Government on foreign exchange management;

At the proposal of the Director of the State Bank Trading Department,

DECISION:

Article 1.- AMEND CLAUSE 2, ARTICLE 9 OF THE "REGULATIONS ON THE ORGANIZATION AND OPERATIONS OF THE INTERBANK FOREIGN EXCHANGE MARKET" ISSUED TOGETHER WITH DECISION NO. 101/1999/QĐ-NHNN13 DATED MARCH 26, 1999 BY THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM AS FOLLOWS:

"THE EXCHANGE RATE FOR TRANSACTIONS BETWEEN OTHER CONVERTIBLE FOREIGN CURRENCIES (EXCEPT USD) AND VND SHALL BE SELF-DETERMINED BY THE GENERAL DIRECTORS (DIRECTORS) OF MEMBER CREDIT ORGANIZATIONS."

Article 2 THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.

Article 3THE HEAD OF THE OFFICE, DIRECTOR OF THE BRANCH OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM, HEADS OF UNITS UNDER THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM, DIRECTORS OF PROVINCE AND CITY CENTRAL BRANCHES OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM, CHAIRMEN OF MANAGEMENT BOARDS, AND GENERAL DIRECTORS (DIRECTORS) OF MEMBER CREDIT ORGANIZATIONS OF THE INTERBANK FOREIGN EXCHANGE MARKET ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECISION./.
