Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Education Law dated June 14, 2005;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training (memorandum No. 7123/TTr-BGD&ĐT dated August 11, 2006) on the establishment of the private FPT University.

Article 1. Approves the establishment of FPT University.
Article 2FPT University is an institution of higher education with legal personality, having its own seal and separate account. The temporary headquarters of the University is located in Hanoi.
Article 3. FPT University operates in accordance with the Charter for Private Universities issued together with Decision No. 14/2005/QĐ-TTg dated January 17, 2005 of the Prime Minister.
Article 4. This Decision takes effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 5. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of provincial and municipal People's Committees directly under the Central Government, and the Founding Board of the Private FPT University are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
