MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Pursuant to Decision No. 32-CT dated January 21, 1984 and Decision No. 47/QĐ-CT dated February 20, 1990 of the Council of Ministers assigning the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry to stipulate types, forms, and quality standards of drugs permitted for production, processing, and use within the country;

Pursuant to the minutes of the Plant Protection Chemicals Advisory Board meeting on June 25, 1991, examining types of pesticides permitted for use in Vietnam;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Crop Production and Plant Protection Bureau and the Head of the Science and Technology Department;

 

DECISION:

Article 1. Now hereby issuing the "List of Pesticides Permitted for Use in Vietnam" attached hereto, which includes 77 types of insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, and rodenticides.

Article 2. Assigning the Crop Production and Plant Protection Bureau to provide detailed guidelines for processing, packaging, labeling, storage, circulation, and use of the pesticides listed herein to ensure their effectiveness in pest control without causing harm to the environment. (For pesticides not included in this list that wish to be surveyed or used in Vietnam, separate regulations will apply).

Article 3. The Heads of the Office, the Crop Production and Plant Protection Bureau, the Science and Technology Department, and related units are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
