Pursuant to the Drug Law dated June 14, 2005;
ON THE BASIS OF THE DECREE NO. 49/2003/NĐ-CP OF MAY 15, 2003 OF THE GOVERNMENT PROVIDING THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH;
CONSIDERING THE PROPOSAL OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE VIETNAMESE PHARMACOPOEIA COUNCIL, WHO ALSO SERVES AS THE HEAD OF THE EDITORIAL BOARD OF THE NATIONAL PHARMACOPOEIA OF VIETNAM AND THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAMESE DRUG MANAGEMENT AGENCY,
DECISION:
Article 1. ISSUING THE NATIONAL PHARMACOPOEIA OF VIETNAM FOR PRIMARY HEALTHCARE LEVEL, FIRST EDITION.
Article 2. THE NATIONAL PHARMACOPOEIA OF VIETNAM FOR PRIMARY HEALTHCARE LEVEL IS AN OFFICIAL DOCUMENT OF THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH AIMED AT PROVIDING DOCTORS WITH CORRECT KNOWLEDGE ABOUT MEDICINES AND SAFE, RATIONAL, EFFECTIVE USE OF MEDICINES IN PRIMARY HEALTHCARE.
Article 3. HEALTH CARE AND TREATMENT FACILITIES, MEDICATION DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES, MEDICATION PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES FOR HUMAN PREVENTION AND TREATMENT, MEDICAL AND PHARMACEUTICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTES, MEDICAL AND PHARMACEUTICAL UNIVERSITIES, DOCTORS MUST STUDY AND GRASP THE CONTENT OF THE NATIONAL PHARMACOPOEIA OF VIETNAM FOR PRIMARY HEALTHCARE TO APPLY IN THEIR WORK OF HEALTH CARE AND HEALTH PROTECTION FOR THE PEOPLE.
Article 4. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
Article 5. YOU ARE HEREBY INSTRUCTED TO IMPLEMENT THIS DECISION: DIRECTOR OF THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH'S OFFICE, DIRECTOR OF THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH'S INSPECTION DEPARTMENT, CHAIRMAN OF THE VIETNAMESE PHARMACOPOEIA COUNCIL, DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAMESE DRUG MANAGEMENT AGENCY, LEADERS OF THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH'S DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES, HEADS OF MINISTRY OF HEALTH'S SUBORDINATE UNITS, GENERAL DIRECTOR OF VIETNAM NATIONAL PHARMACEUTICAL CORPORATION, DIRECTORS OF PROVINCE AND CITY HEALTH DEPARTMENTS UNDER THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT, DIRECTORS OF DISTRICT HEALTH CENTERS, HEADS OF COMMUNE HEALTH STATIONS.
