PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Ordinance on Protection of State Secrets dated December 28, 2000;
Considering the proposal of the President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and the Minister of Public Security,
DECISION:
Article 1. The list of State secrets of the highest confidentiality level of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology includes:
1. Scientific and technological research programs and projects conducted by the Academy to serve national defense and security.
2. Documents, diagrams, maps, specimens, and results of basic research investigation programs established by the Academy related to national defense, security, national sovereignty, and border demarcation purposes that have not been published or will not be published.
3. Results of scientific and technological research works, inventions, utility models, useful solutions, and particularly important scientific and technological secrets of the Academy that have not been published or will not be published, which are crucial for national defense, security, economy, foreign relations, science, and technology.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and replaces Decision No. 127/TTg dated March 30, 1994 of the Prime Minister regarding the list of State secrets within the scope of activities of the National Center for Natural Sciences and Technology.
Article 3. The President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and the Minister of Public Security are responsible for supervising the implementation of this Decision.
Article 4. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government agencies, and Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees and municipal People's Committees directly under the Central Government are responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
