DECREE
REGARDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF PHAN RANG - THAP CHARM CITY IN NINH THUAN PROVINCE

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
CONSIDERING THE PROPOSAL OF THE MINISTER OF INTERIOR AND THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF NINH THUAN PROVINCE.
DECREE:
Article 1. PHAN RANG - THAP CHARM CITY IN NINH THUAN PROVINCE SHALL BE ESTABLISHED ON THE BASIS OF THE ENTIRE NATURAL AREA, POPULATION, AND SUBORDINATE ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS OF PHAN RANG - THAP CHARM TOWN.
PHAN RANG - THAP CHARM CITY HAS AN AREA OF 7,937.56 HA, A POPULATION OF 162,941, AND 15 SUBORDINATE ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS, INCLUDING WARD: DO VINH, BAO AN, PHUOC MY, PHU HA, DAI SON, THANH SON, TAN TAI, MY HUONG, KINH DINH, DAO LONG, MY DONG, DONG HAI AND COMMUNE: THANH HAI, VAN HAI, MY HAI.
THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES OF PHAN RANG - THAP CHARM CITY: EAST ADJACENT TO THE EAST SEA; WEST ADJACENT TO NINH SON DISTRICT AND BAC AI DISTRICT; SOUTH ADJACENT TO NINH PHUOC DISTRICT; NORTH ADJACENT TO NINH HAI DISTRICT, NINH THUAN PROVINCE.
NINH THUAN PROVINCE HAS 6 FIRST-LEVEL ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS, INCLUDING DISTRICTS: NINH SON, BAC AI, NINH HAI, NINH PHUOC, THUAN BAC AND PHAN RANG - THAP CHARM CITY.
Article 2. THIS DECREE SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE. ALL PRIOR PROVISIONS CONTRADICTING THIS DECREE ARE ABROGATED.
Article 3. THE MINISTER OF INTERIOR, THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF NINH THUAN PROVINCE AND THE HEADS OF RELATED ORGANIZATIONS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECREE./.
