||| On April 20, 1983, the Ministry of Finance issued Circular No. 13-TC/HCVX stipulating standards and rental arrangements for uniforms for officials dispatched for short-term assignments abroad, where our government covers the cost of uniforms. Now, we supplement the aforementioned arrangements for officials dispatched for short-term assignments abroad whose uniforms are covered by the host government, as follows:
Generally, officials dispatched for short-term assignments abroad whose uniforms are covered by the host government under agreements between the two governments shall not be provided with funds to rent uniforms according to the current regulations; however, those officials facing difficulties and unable to cover the cost of renting uniforms may be granted funds to rent the following items: to be used when traveling to the host country: BArticle:
1. For travel during summer (from April 1 to September 30), the following items may be rented and funded:
- One suit
- One shirt
- One pair of leather shoes or sandals
- One tie - one suitcase or travel bag.
- For female officials, an additional women's dress and silk trousers may be rented.
2. For travel during winter (from October 1 to March 30), in addition to the items listed in Article 1 above, the following may also be funded:
- One wool scarf
- One long-sleeved knitted or woven sweater
- One knitted or woven wool hat
The procedures for renting and reimbursing costs for the aforementioned uniforms shall be applied as stipulated in Circular No. 13-TC/HCVX of the Ministry of Finance.
