DECISION
Regarding the approval of the bidding results
for tender package number 1 to supply main equipment and transfer technology to
the medium density fiberboard (MDF) factory in Gia Lai province

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Based on the Law on Forest Protection and Development dated August 19, 1991;
At the request of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (document number 265/BNN-XDCB dated January 21, 2000) and the request of the Ministry of Planning and Investment (document number 687/BKH-VPXT dated February 1, 2000).
DECISION:
Article 1. Approve the bidding results for tender package number 1 to supply main equipment and transfer technology to the medium density fiberboard (MDF) factory in Gia Lai province as follows:
- Name of tender package: Supply of main equipment and transfer of technology for the medium density fiberboard (MDF) factory in Gia Lai province.
- Winning bidder: Elof Hansson/Sunds Defibrator Company (Sweden).
- Bid price: 15,690,000 USD (fifteen million six hundred ninety thousand US dollars).
- Type of contract: Turnkey contract.
- Duration of contract implementation: 40 (forty) weeks from the date the contract becomes effective.
Article 2. Direct the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development to approve the purchase contracts for main equipment and technology transfer according to the tender results, and at the same time be responsible for the bidder's ability to meet the tender documentation, particularly regarding product quality.
Direct the project owner to implement the procurement and technology transfer contracts; ensure the quality of machinery and equipment as well as the timely transfer of technology in accordance with the construction schedule of the artificial fiberboard (MDF) factory in Gia Lai province, while ensuring compliance with current regulations.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature. The Ministers of Agriculture and Rural Development, Planning and Investment, Finance, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, Heads of relevant Ministries and sectors, and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Gia Lai Province are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
