Decree No. 22/2001/NĐ-CP On merging Thach Thuong Commune and Cay Town to establish Thach Ha Town under Thach Ha District, Ha Tinh Province

DECREE OF THE GOVERNMENT

Regarding the merger of Thach Thuan Commune and Cay Town,

to establish Thach Ha Town under Thach Ha District, Ha Tinh Province

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

Considering the proposal of the Chairman Within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the dossier as mentioned in Sub-clause b, Clause 1, Article 3 above, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will review and submit to the competent authority for decision (Issues exceeding the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' jurisdiction will be referred to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision).the People's Committee of Ha Tinh Province and the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department of the Government;

Article 1. The entire natural area and population of Thach Thuan Commune and Cay Town shall be merged to form Thach Ha Town under Thach Ha District, Ha Tinh Province.

After the merger, Thach Ha Town will have 767 hectares of natural area and 8,658 inhabitants. The administrative boundary of Thach Ha Town: East borders Thach Trung Commune (Ha Tinh City), Ho Du Commune, and Thach Ha Commune; West borders Thach Thanh Commune, Thach Luu Commune, and Thach Vinh Commune; South borders Thach Dai Commune and Thach Trung Commune, Thach Linh Commune (Ha Tinh City); North borders Thach Long Commune.

Article 2. This Decree takes effect fifteen days from the date of signature. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.

Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh Province, the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department of the Government, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
