Regarding the announcement of production equipment capacity for cigarette products at the time of issuance of Resolution No. 12/2000/NQ-CP dated August 14, 2000 of the Government.
THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY
Pursuant to the Decree No. 74/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government on functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry;
Pursuant to the Decree No. 76/2001/NĐ-CP dated October 22, 2001 of the Government on production and business activities of tobacco;
Considering the reports on production equipment capacity of cigarette products from cigarette manufacturing enterprises;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, the Director of the Department of Technology Management and Product Quality;
DECISION:
Article 1. Now announces the production equipment capacity for cigarettes at the time of issuance of Resolution No. 12/2000/NQ-CP dated August 14, 2000 of the Government on the "National Policy on Tobacco Control" for the period 2000-2010 of cigarette manufacturing enterprises (with attached Appendix).
Article 2. The production equipment capacity for cigarettes announced in this Decision shall be the basis for determining investment policies for technological and equipment renewal; importation of machinery and equipment for tobacco product production; and the need for tobacco raw material and cigarette paper imports for each enterprise and for the entire industry.
Article 3The Head of the Office of the Ministry, the Inspector General of the Ministry, the Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, the Director of the Department of Technology Management and Product Quality, the General Director of Vietnam Tobacco Corporation, the General Directors and Directors of cigarette product manufacturing enterprises listed in the Appendix are responsible for implementing this Decision.
