Pursuant to the Law on Rail Transport dated June 14, 2005;

Pursuant to the Ordinance on Product Quality dated December 24, 1999;

Pursuant to Decree No. 34/2003/NĐ-CP dated April 4, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Vietnam Vehicle Inspection Agency, the Head of the Science and Technology Department.

Article 1. The industry standard "Technical Requirements and Environmental Protection for Rail Transport Vehicles" accompanying this Decision is hereby promulgated.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 3. The Heads of the Office, the Science and Technology Department, the Vietnam Vehicle Inspection Agency, the Vietnam Railway Administration, the General Director of the Vietnam Railway Corporation, and the Heads of relevant units and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
