Decision No. 22/2006/QD-BYT on supplementing the tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the National Center for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control

the National Center for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control

THE MINISTER OF HEALTH

Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to Decree No. 49/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;

Pursuant to Decision No. 432/QĐ-TTg dated May 20, 2005 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the National Center for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control under the Ministry of Health and the renaming of the Center for Preventive Medicine and HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control to the Center for Preventive Medicine of Vietnam;

Pursuant to Decision No. 621/QĐ-TTg dated April 18, 2006 of the Prime Minister on the reorganization of affiliated public service units outside of Decree No. 49/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2003 of the Government;

At the proposal of the Director of the National Center for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control and the Director of the Department of Organization and Cadres of the Ministry of Health,

DECISION:

Article 1. Assign to the National Center for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control the additional task: "Managing, directing, and organizing the compilation, publication, and distribution of the 'AIDS and Community Journal' in accordance with the provisions of the law."

Article 2. Supplement the organizational structure of the National Center for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control with the AIDS and Community Journal.

The AIDS and Community Journal is a revenue-generating public service unit under the National Center for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control, having legal personality, its own seal, and separate bank account. The Charter of the Organizational Structure and Activities of the AIDS and Community Journal shall be approved by the Minister of Health.

Article 3. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

Article 4. The Permanent Deputy Head of the Office, the Director of the Department of Organization and Cadres, the Director of the National Center for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control - Ministry of Health, and the Heads of related units are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
