THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY

Pursuant to Decree No.Decree No. 55/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 28, 2003 of the Government stipulating functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry;

Pursuant to Decree No. 153/2004/NĐ-CP dated August 9, 2004 of the Government on management organization of state-owned joint-stock corporations and conversion of state-owned joint-stock corporations and independent state-owned companies into holding company - subsidiary models;

Pursuant to Decision No. 139/QĐ-TTg dated February 8, 2002 of the Prime Minister on piloting organizational forms and operations according to the holding company - subsidiary model at the Institute of Machinery and Industrial Tools;

Pursuant to Decision No. 14/2004/QĐ-TTg dated January 29, 2004 of the Prime Minister on allowing implementation of the mechanism for the Institute of Machinery and Industrial Tools to be converted into a science and technology business, piloting organization according to the holding company - subsidiary model;

Pursuant to Decision No. 56/2002/QĐ-BCN dated December 18, 2002 of the Minister of Industry on transferring the Institute of Machinery and Industrial Tools, a member unit of the State-owned Joint-Stock Corporation of Machinery and Industrial Equipment, into a science and technology business directly under the Ministry of Industry and restructuring into a state-owned holding company, piloting organization according to the holding company - subsidiary model.

Considering the proposal of the Institute of Machinery and Industrial Tools (Proposal No. 247/2007/IMI-KHĐT dated April 5, 2007) and the Director of the Department of Organization and Cadres,

Pursuant to …;:

Article 1. The Charter on organization and operation of the Institute of Machinery and Industrial Tools - Science and Technology Business, piloting organization according to the holding company - subsidiary model is hereby promulgated together with this Decision.

Article 2. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Inspectorate, the Directors of Departments and Bureaus under the Ministry, the Board of Directors of the Institute of Machinery and Industrial Tools, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
