DECREE-LAW

NO.: 222 DATE: AUGUST 20, 1948

OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

 

CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

 

Pursuant to the decree-law of September 5, 1945 prohibiting the people from selling food to the enemy and contacting with the enemy;

Considering the special circumstances of the resistance war;

In accordance with the proposal of the Minister of Economy;

After deliberation by the Council of Ministers and the Standing Committee of the National Assembly;

ISSUES THE DECREE-LAW:

Article 1

All trade with the enemy is hereby prohibited.

Article 2

Any violations of this decree-law and implementing regulations shall be prosecuted before military courts.

Article 3

The Ministers of Economy and Justice are responsible for enforcing this decree-law.
