DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER
Regarding the approval of the adjustment plan for the restructuring and renewal of state-owned enterprises under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decision No. 155/2004/QĐ-TTg dated August 24, 2004 of the Prime Minister on issuing criteria and classification lists for state-owned enterprises and independent accounting subsidiaries under state-owned corporations;
Considering the proposal of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.

Article 1. Approve the adjustment plan for the restructuring and renewal of state-owned enterprises directly under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology for the period 2005-2006 as set out in the Appendix attached hereto.
Article 2. Chairman of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology:
1. Direct the implementation of the restructuring and renewal of state-owned enterprises directly under the Academy in accordance with the approved content; sell and equitize certain parts of enterprises belonging to the Science and Technology Import-Export Production and Service Company and the Science and Technology Application and New Technology Transfer Company in accordance with current regulations.
2. Decide on the restructuring of the NETNAM Company and the Technology Development Company in accordance with the provisions of the law.
Article 3. The Ministries of Finance, Planning and Investment, Home Affairs, Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Steering Committee for Enterprise Renewal and Development, and related agencies shall be responsible for coordinating with the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology in implementing the aforementioned Plan.
Article 4. This Decision takes effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
