THE MINISTER OF FINANCE
Pursuant to Decree No. 77/2003/ND-CP dated July 1, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance;
Pursuant to Decision No. 1458/QD-TTg dated October 9, 2008 of the Prime Minister on providing financial and rice aid to localities to address the aftermath of Typhoon No. 6;
Based on the proposal of the Director of the National Reserve Agency,
DECISION:
Article 1. The National Reserve Agency shall release without charge 2,200 tons of rice from the national reserve to support localities in addressing the aftermath of Typhoon No. 6, including:
- Bac Giang Province: 1,000 tons.
- Lang Son Province: 400 tons.
- Quang Ninh Province: 400 tons.
- Son La Province: 400 tons.
Article 2. The National Reserve Agency is responsible for coordinating with the People's Committees of Bac Giang, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, and Son La Provinces to promptly organize the delivery and receipt of rice to provide timely relief to the people, with the rice being delivered at the district centers according to the provincial allocation plan.
The National Reserve Agency shall record the reduction in the national reserve capital for the aforementioned quantity of rice at the accounting price currently recorded in the books and report the settlement of the relief goods in accordance with the regulations.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature. The Director of the National Reserve Agency, the Director of the State Budget Department, the Director of the Financial Management Department, the Director of the Price Management Agency, and the Head of the Ministry's Office are responsible for implementing this Decision.
